About

Church History

Holy Trinity was founded as a mission congregation in 1961 to serve the greater Grand Rapids area. Throughout the years, God has blessed our congregation with growth in our congregation and in our ministries.

Holy Trinity Lutheran School was later founded in 1964, and started its first school year with eight students. Holy Trinity added the preschool program to their day school program in 1991.

Holy Trinity has also had a hand in starting two daughter congregations, Christ our Savior in Rockford in 1989, and Spirit of Life in Caledonia in 2005.

Today, Holy Trinity continues to give thanks for God’s faithfulness over more than fifty years of ministry. God has done great things for our congregation. We give God all the praise and glory.
